I am currently completing my apprentice teaching (student teaching) experience in a high school mathematics classroom. As part of Kentucky's educator preparation requirements, I am working alongside a cooperating teacher during a 16-week clinical placement that provides opportunities to develop my skills in lesson planning, instruction, assessment, and classroom management while receiving ongoing mentorship and support. This experience allows me to apply what I have learned throughout my teacher preparation program in an authentic classroom setting while working directly with students.
